He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Friedman and Lula Friedman (Flick); and his siblings, Jessie Chastain, Fern Knies, Roberta "Babe" Schneider and James Friedman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Friedman of Jasper; his children, Diane Stenftenagel (Shane), Bridgette Friedman (John Buchanan) and Keith Friedman (Debbie Gromer); and his grandchildren, Justin Stenftenagel, Brooke Stenftenagel, Steven Golden and Schae Burress.
