He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalphus Sr. Looney and Anna Looney (Zehr); his spouse Sandy Palmer; his children, Kevin, Mark Looney and Terri Lasley; and his brother Larry Looney.
He is survived by: his daughter DeAnn Meyer (Greg) of Dubois, IN; his grandchildren, Candi, Michael, Richard, Ashley, Isaac and Rachel; and his sisters, Barbara Crenshaw of French Lick, IN and Mag Beal (Brad) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
