He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Buschkoetter and Lucille Buschkoetter (Heim); and his siblings, Bertha Ramsey, Anthony, Martin, John and Paul Buschkoetter.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Buschkoetter; his children, Sharla Baburchak (Charlie), Scott Buschkoetter (Annie), Duane Buschkoetter (Jane), Jasper and Dean Buschkoetter (Dee); his grandchildren, Paige Buschkoetter, Taylor Hardin (Lucas), Amos Buschkoettter and Claudia Buschkoetter; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Baburchak, Kari Scheu, Ali Mathias and Chad Jackson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooklyn Knies, Madelynn, Graham Scheu, Kynlee, Mason and Liam Jackson; and his siblings, Mary Lou Sander (Albert), Lillian Sickbert (Arthur) and Ben Buschkoetter Jr. (Debbie). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
