She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo B. Eckert and Margaret A. Eckert (Nordhoff); her husband Alex H. Pieper; and her siblings, Marie Brosmer, Dorothy Schepers, Rita Schroering, Frieda Eckert and Victor Eckert.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Mehringer (Wayne), Angela Larson (Brandon) of Hebron, KY and John Pieper (Trisha) of Fallbrook, CA; and her grandchildren, Whitney Mehringer, Logan Mehringer and Dane Larson.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael's Catholic Church (5564 E St Raphael St, Dubois, IN 47527). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (5564 E St Raphael St, Dubois, IN 47527).
