We bid farewell to David Mettert (Dublin, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 84. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Newton and Kathryn Mettert (Waltz); and his sister Marilyn Orlando. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Mettert; his daughter Debbie Stinson (Lloyd) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Dustin Stinson of Nashville and Casey Stinson (Joshua Sandlin) of Seymour; his great grandchildren, Jace and Quinton Sandlin; his close friends, Bradley Crone, Curtis Poore and Cecil Cooper; and his pet Morris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home (1993 Cumberland St, Cambridge City, IN 47335). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
