She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phipps and Gustava Phipps (Bryant); her husband William "Bill" Hammons; and her siblings, Sally Hacker, Thelma Johnson and Elmer Phipps.
She is survived by: her children, William Hammons (Cindy) of Kansas, David Hammons of Milan and Rhonda Amm (Ron) of Dillsboro; her siblings, Elvin, James, Jesse Douglas Phipps, Judy Heck and Sharon Elbrecht; her grandchildren, William Christopher, Corey David, Alyssa Jonell Hammons and Ronald J. Amm; and her great grandchild Jaxton Hammons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in honor of Jenny to the Alzheimer Association, American Cancer Society, or the Disabled Children's fund.
