He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jewett and Goldia Jewett (Ruhlman); his sons, Denver Jewett and Keith Jewett; and his wife Dorothy Block.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Kirkpatrick (Gary) and Beth Strassell (Robert); and his grandchildren, Shane Jewett (Dana), Chad Jewett (Kim), Kasey Kirkpatrick (Tasha), Korey Kirkpatrick (Roseanna), Jason Robbins (Kelly), Jessie Manlove (Jason), Sarah Teer (Ryan) and Alex Strassell (Russina).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home (12887 Lenover St, Dillsboro, IN 47018). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (12896 Hon Rd, Moores Hill, IN 47032).
