She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Slayback and Julia Slayback (Kohus); her husband George Furlow; her son Tim Shannon; her siblings, Almeda Sheets, Nettie Clark, Claude Slayback Jr. and James Slayback; and her half-brother Dennis Slayback.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Shannon of Rising Sun, IN, Debbie James (Steve) of Patriot, IN and Kevin Shannon (Carla) of Rising Sun, IN; her daughter-in-law Jenny Shannon (late Tim); her sister Judy Slayback Stuard; and her half-sister Shirley Morris. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
