She was predeceased by: her parents, Dietrich Iceberg and Clara Mae Iceberg (Voris); her children, James Steuver and Brenda Conley; and her siblings, Ervin Iceberg and Stella Giltner.

She is survived by: her husband John Steuver Jr.; her children, Russell Steuver of Dillsboro, Gordon Steuver (Lisa) of Holton and Donna Crabtree (Gene) of Pleasant; her siblings, George Iceberg of Cross Plains and Jeraldine Smith of Aurora; and her children-in-law, Terri Steuver of Dillsboro and James Conley of Aurora. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in honor of Marlene to Dillsboro food pantry or Hope Baptist Church.
