He was predeceased by: his brother Denver Jewett; and his brother-in-law Gary Kirkpatrick. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas "Tom" Jewett and Dorothy Jewett Dillsboro (Block); his son Chad Jewett (Kim) of Milan; his sisters, Karen Kirkpatrick of Lawrenceburg and Beth Strassell (Robert) of Milan; his grandchildren, Jacob Bustle of Lawrenceburg, Kayla McKinsey of Milan and Keegan McKinsey of Milan; and his great grandchildren, Beckham and Emmy Redwine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
