With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Strassell of Dillsboro, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Strassell and Dolores Strassell (Smith); and his grandson Ethan Strassell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Strassell (Schneider) of Dillsboro; his son David Strassell (Jessica) of Milan; his siblings, Paul Strassell (Carol) of Moores Hill, Mark Strassell (Shari) of Batesville, Jim Strassell (Kim) of Moores Hill, Robert Strassell (Beth) of Dillsboro, Pam Shannon (Ed) of Cincinnati, Lois Smith (Gary) of Cincinnati, Mary Browning (John) of Moores Hill, Diane Brunner (Chris) of Elrod, Lisa Davis (Bobby) of Milan and Donna VanCleave (Jim) of Dillsboro; his granddaughter Jasmine; and his great grandchild Oaklee Spitznagel.
