With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanna Girod (Dillsboro, Indiana), who passed away on December 27, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Elnora Girod, Jacob Eicher, Joe Bontrager, David and Polly Borntrager.

She is survived by: her parents, Samuel D. Girod and Polly L. Girod (Bontrager); her siblings, Rebecca Rose Girod of Allensville, Indiana, Malachi August Girod of Allensville, Indiana, Loretta Lovina Girod of Allensville, Indiana, Jethro George Girod of Allensville, Indiana and Deborah Dawn Girod of Allensville, Indiana; her grandparents, Daniel, Miriam Girod of Pleasant, Indiana, Leroy and Katie Bontrager of Minnesota; and her great-grandparent Esther Bontrager of Lagrange. She is also survived by her numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
