Jack Leroy Oak Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Leroy Oak of Dillsboro, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Oak (Bailey) and William Albert Oak; his siblings, Clinton, Bill Oak, Francis Shelton and Katherine Adams; and his son-in-law Zerbe Withered.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Ann Oak (Turner); his daughters, Kathy Ransom (Lowell), Nina Withered and Susan Davies (Darren); and his grandchildren, Rachel Hennessey (Kevin), Drew Ransom (Lindsay), Jack Davies (Amy), Sally Wert (Sean), Elise Larcombe (Chris), Owen Davies (Katie), Rhett Ransom (Rachel), Eli Withered (Elizabeth) and Conner Davies (Miranda). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in honor of Jack to the Dillsboro Volunteer Fire Department, Trinity Lutheran Church, or Trinity Lutheran Church Care and Concern Fund.
