He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mallory and Virginia Mallory (Thornton); his grandparents, Lowry and Hattie Thornton; and his cousin Warner Hammond.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy C. Mallory (Brindley) of Dillsboro, IN; his children, Steven Mallory (Lylis), Michael (Angie Campos) and Lisa Kirk (Randy); his grandchildren, Amy Ault (Kyle), Kristina Thompson (Joe), Tyler Kirk (Monica Maloy) and Stephanie Isaacs (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Layden Canary, Brindley Ault, Andrew, Owen Thompson and Andi Issacs.
