He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Don" Wells and Lillian Wells (Vonderhaar); his wife Sandy Wells (Hughes); and his brother Donald Wells. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Suttman (Danielle Hopkins) of Dillsboro, Steven Suttman (Sara Ingram) of Cincinnati, Harry Wells Jr. (Alex) of Patriot and Adrienne Stocker (Scotty) of Bethel, Ohio; his brothers, John Wells (Renee) of Cincinnati, Robert Wells of Milford and Gary Wells of Osgood; and his grandchildren, Memphis Kinnett, Harry Wells III, Rex Wells and Eloise Wells.
Memorials may be given in honor of Harry to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
