It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Wayne McMurray of Dillsboro, Indiana, born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Mick" McMurray and Dorothy "Dottie" McMurray (Lynn); and his parents-in-law, Darlene Heeke (Fischer) and Carl "Buck" Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Teresa McMurray (Fischer) of Dillsboro; his children, Corey McMurray of Moores Hill and Amanda Solomon (Adam) of Dillsboro; his granddaughter Cloe Paige McMurray; his siblings, Kevin McMurray of Guilford, Butch McMurray (Kin) of Manchester and Cindy Dudley (Mike) of Manchester; and his sisters-in-law, Annette Weigle (Raymond), Mona Thies (Rob), Susie LaGreca (Steve) and Bobbie Jackson (Jake). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be given in honor of Hammer to the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery or the family to defray funeral expenses.
