She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Backus and Ruth Backus. She is survived by: her children, Devon Lyon (Tonja), Jacob Booher, Emily Lyon and Haley Lyon; her siblings, Jim Backus (Dawn), Bill Backus, Bob Backus (Christy), Mary Kay Jansing (Gary), Kathy Kirk and Nancy Backus; and her grandchildren, Eleanor and Conor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews.
