With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bette R. Belschner of Dillsboro, Indiana, born in New Haven, Indiana, who passed away on February 3, 2023 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bette R. Belschner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hyser and Evelyn Hyser (Curry); her husband George Belschner; her daughter Candy Richie; and her granddaughter Jennifer Shoppell.
She is survived by: her daughter Lana Melton of Dillsboro; her grandchildren, Jason Melton (Nicole) of New Albany and Kari Finnegan (Casey) of Dillsboro; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Finnegan, James Finnegan, Everett Melton and Alton Melton.
Memorials may be given in honor of Bette to the Dillsboro American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
