It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Jarboe of Derby, Indiana, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Jarboe to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry "Curt" Jarboe and Delores Jarboe (Cassidy); his wife Kathleen Jarboe; his children, Amber Bockhold (Clint) of Derby, Jenna Simon (Michael) of Derby, Katie Gelarden (Ryan) of Tell City, Michael Jarboe (Brianna) of Apalona and Shannon Etienne (Glenn) of Leopold; his siblings, Cathy Hammack of Tell City, Dale Jarboe of Rockport and Jeff Jarboe of Tell City; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Mia, Macy, Gunner, Dax, Klyne, Isla, Ada, Rhett, Braeden and Jaelyn.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (18020 Lafayette St, Leopold, IN 47551).
