She was predeceased by: her husband James Bristow; her daughter Fredia Bristow; her grandchildren, Mark Braule, Donnie Gihardro and Sara Ferrandey; her parents, Conner Thorpe and Dosie Bolden Thorpe; and her sisters, Maglene Henry, Hazel Wright and Virginia Marksberry.
She is survived by: her children, Wilma Jane Bonesteel (Gary) of Deputy, Bessie Bristow of Richmond, Dessie Bristow of Winter Haven, Florida, Faye Smith of Nabb, Indiana and James Bristow of Seymour, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jessie Scott, Eric Pelfrey, Kenny Baurle, Nathaniel Bonesteel, Logan Bonesteel, Blake Bonesteel and Elisa Hubbard; her great grandchildren, Virginia Scott, Valerie Scott and Lincoln Scott; and her sister Ellen Philpott of North Vernon, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
