He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Dale Welch and Rhoda Marie Mack Morgan; his wife Brenda Kay Vermillion Welch; his brother Kenneth Dale Welch; and his stepfather Dale Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Welch of Tucson, Arizona, Tony Vermillion (Lisa) of Deputy and Jeff Sellers of Bloomington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brandon Vermillion, Kristen Vermillion and Tiffany Wilking (Darius); his great grandchild Lydia Wilking; his siblings, David Stout of Melbourne, Vivian Trimble (Kenny) of Lakeland, Rick Morgan (Trish) of Lakeland and Penny Price (Doug) of Ruskin, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Benjamin Vermillion (Lila) of Butlerville, Shirley Ralston of Westport and Linda Minger of Scipio, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
