He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Heil and Rachel Bond Heil; his brother Noel Clifford Heil; his son-in-law Wes Shotwell; his sister Vivian Hanks; and his stepgreat-grandson Jack Olmsted.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Arlene Kirby Heil of Deputy, Indiana; his daughters, Jennifer Baylor Wiggs (Joe) of Denton, Georgia and Noelle Padauk of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Drew Shotwell, Ethan Baylor and Kayla Baylor; his stepdaughters, Kimber Lee Olmsted of Richmond and Terri Lynn Chamberlain (Chad) of Sellersburg, Indiana; his stepgrandchildren, Kirstyn Davis, Abigail Chamberlain, Michael C. Olmsted, II and Jordan R. Olmsted; his stepgreat-grandsons, Kaleb and Mason Olmsted; his sister Nada Lipe (Jim) of Richardson, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Heil of Cobden, Illinois and Lonnie Kirby (Glenda) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
