He was predeceased by: his parents, Britt Vires Sr. and Louis Vires (Combs); his brothers, David and Bert Vires; and his grandson Britton Gage Vires.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Gene Vires; his children, Zachary Eli Vires (Juleigh) of Deputy, Vickie Spicer-Hayes (Kyle) of Austin and Brittley Nicole Vires of Scottsburg; his siblings, Todd Vires of Austin, Ricky Vires of Jasonville, Rita Jett of Austin, Mindy Misamore of Scottsburg, Margaret Copple of Deputy and Krissy Hunter; and his grandchildren, Jackie Hayes, Bow Hayes, Calleigh Nance, Matty Leigh Vires and Brittx Eli.
