She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rice and Beaulah Withrow Rice; her son James Jacobs; and her siblings, George Rice and Charlotte Rice.
She is survived by: her sons, Dusty Rhodes (Jennifer) of Depauw and Rob Rhodes (Jessica) of Corydon, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Liana Shafer of New Salisbury, Indiana; her grandchildren, Blake Smith-Bohnert (Chelsey), Jenna Cecil (Drew), Maggie Jacobs, Addalynn Groover, Peyton Rhodes, Savana Rhodes, Parker Rhodes, Kodi Stepp, Deaven Stepp, Austyn Stepp and Hudson Rhodes; her great grandchild Logan Bohnert; her sisters, Brenda Shafer (Chuck) of Depauw and Linda Newbern of Depauw; and her caregiver Karen Hulsey of Fredericksburg, Indiana. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
