He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Swarens Sr. and Polly Swarens (Clark); and his brothers, Tommy and James Swarens. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie L. Raines (James) of Leavenworth, Indiana; his sister Carol Yaeger of Depauw; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Jayson and Braxton Raines.
