He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Whittaker and Susie Whittaker (Sparkman); his wife Doris Whittaker (Terry); and his siblings, Anna Laura Mousty and Roy Whittaker.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Case (Gary), Pamela Wolfe (Jerry), Ronald Whittaker (Jane) and Bobby Whittaker (Janie). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Swarens Funeral Home (1405 IN-64, Ramsey, IN 47166). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Of Christ Cemetery (8980 Mt Tabor Rd NW, Depauw, IN 47115).
