William R. Townsend Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Townsend and Ila Mae Townsend (Starnes); his son Larry Townsend; his brothers, Thomas Townsend and Freeman Townsend; and his nephew Troy Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Townsend; his children, Julie Hundley (Scott), Billy Townsend, Steven Townsend (Faye) and Macy; and his siblings, Shelby Townsend (Mary Ellen) and Nancy Penny (Will). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McClain Funeral Home (3500 IN-16, Denver, IN 46926). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards The Old Crossroads Baptist Church.
