He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifford Sopher, Sr. and Bonnie Dorette Dickerhoff (Jim); his sister Rose Marie Sopher; and his father-in-law Charles Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Elaine Adkins; his children, Steven Mark Sopher II (Sue Ellen) and Tiffany Yvonne McBride (Philip); his grandchildren, Lilian Rose McBride, Isabella Grace McBride, Hannah Lenay Hicks, Lulu Eleanore Elaine McBride, Ireland Michelle McBride, Kain Alexander Sopher and Oliver Mark McBride; his siblings, Jim Sopher, Frank Sopher, Mike Sopher (Dianna), Jeff Sopher (Beth) and Sandy York (Pat); and his mother-in-law Marilyn Adkins.
