She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Arlie Wilkerson (Smith); her son Gene Bruist; and her grandson Michael Bruist. She is survived by: her husband Bob Bruist; her children, Connie Bruist Helms (Trent), Archie and Debbie Haney; her daughter-in-law Peggy Bruist; her grandchildren, Nicole Bruist of Florida, Brandy Anderson of Florida, Frank Jones III of Florida, Jason Fagaly of Ohio and Nicholas Fagaly of Ohio; and her brother Clyde Wilkerson (Barbara). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
