He was predeceased by: his parents, William Featherston and Alice Featherston (Swanson); his brother Jim Featherston; his daughter Mary Featherston; his granddaughter Courtney Prairie; and his stepsisters, Catherine Timmer and Babe.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Featherston; his children, Debbie Prairie (Timm), William Featherston (Kathy), Carol O'Brien (Tim), Paul Featherston (Darlene) and Robert Featherston (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Jake Prairie (Jessica), Zach Prairie (Dyanna), Clay Prairie, Stacy Webster (Brent), Emily Prairie, Amanda Featherston (Elliot Kraft), Bradley Featherston (Veronica), Michelle O'Brien (Stewart Anderko), Kelly Buckley (Jack), Shannon O'Brien and Trajan Featherston. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lain-Sullivan Funeral Directors (50 Westwood Dr, Park Forest, IL 60466). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
