He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ripley and Irene Ripley; his grandson Luke Sturm; and his sons-in-law, Don Benjamin and Jeffrey Sturm.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Ripley; his daughters, Tanis Taylor (James), Sandy Sturm and Amy Benjamin; his grandchildren, Sarah Tinsley (Steven), Nathaniel Sturm, Jacob Benjamin, Gabriel Sturm and Celia Taylor; his great grandchild Olivia Tinsley; and his brothers, Jerry Ripley (Beverly) and Michael Ripley (Leigh).
