It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Homans of Demotte, Indiana, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Scott Homans (Allison); his brothers, Elmer Homans and Harold Homans; and his parents, Herman Homans and Elizabeth Homans.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Homans; his children, Gregg Homans, Lori Geremia (Max), Robert Homans, Russell Homans (Dawn) and Michael Homans (Ericka); his grandchildren, Jeff Homans, Angel Homans, Austin Homans and Jessica Homans; and his great grandchildren, Abel Homans, Lylah Homans and Emmett Homans.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
