She is survived by: her husband Jim Gouwens; and her daughters, Cheryl Korenic (John) of Munster, IN, Carolyn Triemstra (Jay) of St. John, IN and Janet Vanderaa (Joe Rinella) of Cedar Lake, IN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
