She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Melka Sr. and Marion Melka; and her brother Mark J. Melka. She is survived by: her husband Phil Sapienza; her sons, Brian and Neal Alger (Marilia); her grandchildren, Leandro and Nina; and her brother Charles J. Melka, Jr. (Sally).
