She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Belstra and Grace Belstra (DeFries); her husbands, Vito N. DiCogno and Ted F. Hathaway; and her siblings, Gwen Van Keppel (Barney), Anna Mae Ruisard (Herb), Albert K. "Bud" Belstra, Herman Belstra and Gene Belstra.
She is survived by: her sister Florence "Sis" Riley (Edward). She is also survived by six step-children, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marian's name to Oak Grove Christian Village.
