Louis W. Crane Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis W. Crane of Demotte, Indiana, born in Bedford, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Crane and Melinda Crane; his siblings, Ben, Kenny, Doyle, Evelyn and Rosemary; his grandsons, Todd, Ryan and Steve; and his daughter-in-law Susan Hanaway.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Hanaway; his sons, Gene Hanaway, Terry Hanaway, Mike Crane (Teresa), Phil Crane (Nancy) and James Crane (Debbie); and his sister Samantha. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte (200 3rd St SW, De Motte, IN 46310). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can go to First Baptist Church of DeMotte.
