It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L Takacs Jr. of Demotte, Indiana, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Louis Sr. and Agnes Takacs (Nagel); his sister Mary Caldanaro (Rich); and his brother-in-law Mike Roadruck. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rothermel; his children, Ann Sanders (Pat) and John L Takacs III (Nellie); and his siblings, Joan Gulbransen (Ed), Dave Takacs (Donna) and Ann Roadruck. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
