She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Boersma and Maggie Boersma (Hamstra); her husbands, Gene Curry and Clarence Gilbert; her children, Susan Sworden and Gene 'Bud Curry; her grandsons, Scott and Robert Sworden; her siblings, Rose Kamminga, Ann King and William Boersma; and her son-in-law Robert White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Smith (Maurice) and Phyllis White; her children-in-law, Lola Curry and Sidney Sworden; and her brother Andrew Boersma. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
