He was predeceased by: his parents, Duurt Wall and Cornelia'Kay' Vander Wall (Zeldenrust); and his brother-in-law Ronald Jabaay. He is survived by: his wife Marlene De Mick; his sons, Daniel Vander Wall (Danah), Douglas Vander Wall (Dee), Donald Vander Wall (Tracy) and David Vander Wall (Valerie); and his sister Carol Jabaay. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elim Christian School or Samaritan's Purse.
