She was predeceased by: her parents, William DeJong and Kate DeJong (Hoekstra); and her spouse Jerry D. Sheets. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Slager (Randy), Michael Sheets (Val) and Jerry Sheets (Tia); her grandchildren, Megan, Eric, Brandon, Brooke, Erin and Katie; and her great grandchildren, Knox, Wren and Harper. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
