He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Patterson and Etta Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Patterson; his daughters, LaDonna Barnes (Jay), Elizabeth Edwards (Jerry) and Deidra Begley (Greg); his grandchildren, Jonathon Barnes (Allie), Cory Barnes, Brian Barnes, Kristin Barnes, Kevin Cook, Ian Edwards, Eli Edwards, Justin Kleine (Jessica), Faith Schwark (Grifin), Kylie Begley, Keegan Begley and Levi Begley; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Logan and Damon; his siblings, Juanita Potter (late JB), Faye Russell (James), Flonnie Sims (Mike) and David Patterson; his sister-in-law Peggy Patterson; his brother Daniel Patterson; and his granddaughter Abigail Angel Begley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
