She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hoekstra and Gertrude Hoekstra (Swets); her husband Clifford Poisel; her son Edward Louis Poisel; and her sister-in-law Betty Irelan (Poisel).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou and Roger Poisel (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Travis Poisel, Beau Gross (Jessica), Cassandra Schultz (Brandon), Blaine Gross (Ashley), Stephanie Glass (Jacob) and Trisha Vargas (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Haiden, Terence, Damien, Adrian, Austin and Savannah; her great great grandchild Oakley; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Poisel (Carolyn), George Poisel (Pat), Marilyn Benda, Carol Dust (Jerry) and Donna Meir (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the DeMotte United Methodist Church endowment fund.
