It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera D. Cheesman Marcum of Delphi, Indiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Purdue Cheesman and Addie Kerfoot Cheesman; her siblings, Ruby and Ronnie; and her great grandchildren, Jace Owen Hart and Rowan Renee Hart.
She is survived by: her husband Bobbie C. Marcum Sr. of Delphi; her children, Bobbie (Bonny Marcum Jr.), Michael W. Marcum of Clarks Hill and Charlene (Sean Hart); and her sister Norita Kingery of Lafayette.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abbott Funeral Home, Inc. (421 E Main St, Delphi, IN 46923). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
