He was predeceased by: his wife Leeann Miller; his father Lawrence Dean Hunt; his son Lukus Hunt; and his brother Russell J. Hunt. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Jean Hunt of Delphi; his daughter Misty Tanner of Royal Center; his sister Mary Jo "Jodi"; and his grandchildren, Kaylin L. Tanner, Connor Elburn and Caroline Elburn.
