Vickie J. Meyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie J. Meyer of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vickie J. Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Vickie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vickie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merle Burkhead and Alice M. Burkhead (Baumgartner); her sons, Shaun Meyer (Sarah) of Decatur, IN, Nathan Meyer (Tammy) of Decatur, IN and Ricky Meyer (Kayla) of Decatur, IN; and her siblings, Joe Burkhead (Donna) of Decatur, IN, Dixie Sparks (Paul) of Garrett, IN and David Smith. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Haggard Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home (225 Adams St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
