It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan J. Seddelmeyer of Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Schueler and Ilo Jean Schueler (Grote); and her siblings, Ron Schueler and Arleen Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Carl Seddelmeyer of Decatur, Indiana; her children, Andrew Seddelmeyer (Tessa Hart) of Decatur, Indiana, Kathryn Bender (Corey) of Decatur, Indiana and Ryan Seddelmeyer (Jessie) of Clarksville, Ohio; her siblings, David Schueler of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ellen Bruns (James) of Celina, Ohio, Barbara Gaffer (Mitch Braswell) of Peachtree City, Georgia, Norman Schueler of Decatur, Indiana, James Schueler (Karen) of Decatur, Indiana, Corene Scheumann (Nolan) of Decatur, Indiana, John Schueler (Claudia) of Decatur, Indiana and Karen Dennison (Thomas) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Louis Welch, Brantley Seddelmeyer, Ryker Seddelmeyer, Riley Seddelmeyer, Emary Bender, Charlie Seddelmeyer and Carter Seddelmeyer.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church- Preble (4510 W 750 N, Decatur, IN 46733).
