He is survived by: his wife Marge Franz of Decatur; his children, Jackie Sanderson (Barry) of Decatur, Jennifer Sprunger (Scott) of Decatur and Josh Franz (Emily) of Decatur; his siblings, Kent Franz (Sandy) of Hoagland, IN, Janell Harper (Ed) of Monroeville, IN, LouAnn Beery (William) of Fort Wayne, IN and Donna Schlemmer (Dale) of Gladstone, MI; his grandchildren, Alexis Minard (Corey) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Sydney Sanderson (Landon Baker) of Decatur, Jonathan Franz of Decatur, Elijah Franz of Decatur and Jania Franz of Decatur; and his great grandchild Mason Minard.
Preferred memorials are to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling or SPI Lutheran School.
