We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024, at the age of 79, Richard L. Schwartz of Decatur, Indiana, born in Berne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Reuben Schwartz and Rachael Schwartz (Steury); and his siblings, Janette Koomler (Norman), Carol Yager (Glen) and Leonard Schwartz (Linda).

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Cox (Scott) of Decatur and Steven Schwartz of Decatur; his sisters, Irene Watkins (Marvin) of Decatur and Flossie Cable (Bob) of Auburn, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Bixler of Decatur and Roger Bixler of Decatur.

Memorials may be given to ACCF Angel Cancer Fund.
