With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard E. Myers of Decatur, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard E. Myers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Myers and Margaret Myers (Miller); and his sisters, Charlotte Myers and Shirley Myers. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Myers of Decatur, Indiana; his children, Susan Roe (Steven) of Decatur, Indiana, Monica Lepper (Gary) of Decatur, Indiana and Stacy Myers (Lori) of Decatur, Indiana; his sisters, Doris Neuenschwander of Berne, Indiana and Marilyn Herman of Berne, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brian Williamson (Amy), Sara Mesing (Paul), Abbie Lepper (Fletcher Mielke), Brooke Lepper and Alex Myers; and his great grandchildren, Oakley and Kenzie Mesing.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur (520 N 2nd St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials can be given to Mt. Hope Church.
