He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony C. Spangler and Evelyn Spangler; his wife Anna Marie Everett; his son-in-law James Wilhelm; and his granddaughter Melissa Mowery.
He is survived by: his children, David Spangler (Shelly), Daniel Spangler (Dee), Janet Ann Spangler, Edward Spangler (April), Teresa Counterman (Jeff) and Amy Malott (Garry); and his sister Gloria Seilger. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
